Carnapper Arrested in Checkpoint

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 6, 2019) – The Combined elements of Ipil MPS, Zamboanga Sibugay PPO, RMFB9, Molave MPS and Liloy MPS conducted Intel Driven Operation from Pagadian City to Municipality of Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur chasing the subject aboard a military type Jeep on February 5, 2019 at about 4:30pm.

The operating team informs the Molave MPS of the ongoing operation and immediately conducted random checkpoint along national road of Brgy Blancia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Jaidamie Lizz Villaspin Tan, female, 36 years old, a resident of Purok 1, Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The arrest was made by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated January 19, 2019, docketed under Criminal Case Number I-7200 for Violation of R.A. 10883 (Carnaping) issued by Presiding Judge RTC branch 36, Ipil Zamboanga Sibugay, with recommended bail bond of three hundred thousand pesos (Php300,000.00).

Arrested person was brought to Molave MPS for documentation and proper disposition.

2 Gun for Hire Personalities Killed in Police Operation



MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 6, 23019) – The Combined police operatives of Regional Intelligence Division 9, 902nd Maneuvering Company of RMFB 9 and Molave Municipal Police Station conducted a counter-strike and/or stop and frisk operation along the National Highway, Brgy. Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:45 PM of February 4, 2019.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director said that the successful operation was resulted to the neutralization of two gun-for-hire personalities identified as:
Melvin Louie Pasok Bongabong alias Bobong and
Ernesto L. Briones.

The operation, after the duo when subjected to a stop and frisk by a number of police operatives drew their firearms and aims at the police operatives, thereby posing imminent danger/threat to the life of the said intelligence officers, thus compelling the police operatives to take some shots at the suspects.

The operation emanated upon receipt of a critical report that the above named suspects were about to perpetrate a crime and/or gun-for-hire hit at the above-stated vicinity.

Recovered from Melvin Louie Bongabong (back rider): one (1) unit Caliber .38 revolvers with several ammunitions. Recovered from Ernesto L. Briones were: one (1) unit Caliber .38 revolvers with several ammunitions and several identification cards.



Based on intelligence reports, the herein-named subjects are affiliated with Parojinog crime syndicate, particularly associated with the certain “Quiapo” (Ozamiz City Police Office High Value Target) heavily involved in robbery, carnapping, illegal drugs and contract killing (Gun-for-hire activities).
