Man Held for Violation of Election Gun Ban

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (April 15, 2019) - On April 14, 2019 at about 9:00 PM, a man outside their house who appeared drunk armed with a .38 revolver and suddenly fired it to the ground.

Investigation conducted disclose identified as John Oliveros Embodo, 25 years old, single and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Bag-ong Argao, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur armed and holding a .38 revolver which prompted the Alert team of Molave MPS ordered to put down his firearm on the ground and immediately placed him under arrest and was inform of his constitutional rights. 

Confiscated from the suspect one 38 revolver without serial number and one fired cartridge case.

The suspect was brought to Molave MPS for proper disposition.

RA 9262 Violator Nabbed

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (March 21, 2019) - PNP Personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted police operation on wanted person at J Print Zone, Purok Makiangayon, Barangay Blancia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 PM of March 20, 2019.

The operation was resulted in the arrest of Jaynol Permaran Villoria, 31 year’s old, male, married and presently residing at Purok Maliwanag Dos, Barangay Parasan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Violation Of Section 5(I) Of Republic Act 9262 docketed under Criminal Case # 14325-2K19 issued by Honorable Judge Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City dated March 20, 2019, with bail bond recommended of Seventy two thousand pesos (P72,000.00).

The arrested person is now under the custody of Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition. 

Carnapper Arrested in Checkpoint

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 6, 2019) – The Combined elements of Ipil MPS, Zamboanga Sibugay PPO, RMFB9, Molave MPS and Liloy MPS conducted Intel Driven Operation from Pagadian City to Municipality of Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur chasing the subject aboard a military type Jeep on February 5, 2019 at about 4:30pm.

The operating team informs the Molave MPS of the ongoing operation and immediately conducted random checkpoint along national road of Brgy Blancia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Jaidamie Lizz Villaspin Tan, female, 36 years old, a resident of Purok 1, Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The arrest was made by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated January 19, 2019, docketed under Criminal Case Number I-7200 for Violation of R.A. 10883 (Carnaping) issued by Presiding Judge RTC branch 36, Ipil Zamboanga Sibugay, with recommended bail bond of three hundred thousand pesos (Php300,000.00).

Arrested person was brought to Molave MPS for documentation and proper disposition.

2 Gun for Hire Personalities Killed in Police Operation

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 6, 23019) – The Combined police operatives of Regional Intelligence Division 9, 902nd Maneuvering Company of RMFB 9 and Molave Municipal Police Station conducted a counter-strike and/or stop and frisk operation along the National Highway, Brgy. Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:45 PM of February 4, 2019.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director said that the successful operation was resulted to the neutralization of two gun-for-hire personalities identified as:

Melvin Louie Pasok Bongabong alias Bobong and

Ernesto L. Briones.

The operation, after the duo when subjected to a stop and frisk by a number of police operatives drew their firearms and aims at the police operatives, thereby posing imminent danger/threat to the life of the said intelligence officers, thus compelling the police operatives to take some shots at the suspects.

The operation emanated upon receipt of a critical report that the above named suspects were about to perpetrate a crime and/or gun-for-hire hit at the above-stated vicinity.

Recovered from Melvin Louie Bongabong (back rider): one (1) unit Caliber .38 revolvers with several ammunitions. Recovered from Ernesto L. Briones were: one (1) unit Caliber .38 revolvers with several ammunitions and several identification cards.

Based on intelligence reports, the herein-named subjects are affiliated with Parojinog crime syndicate, particularly associated with the certain “Quiapo” (Ozamiz City Police Office High Value Target) heavily involved in robbery, carnapping, illegal drugs and contract killing (Gun-for-hire activities).

Robbery with Homicide Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 29, 2019) - Robbery with homicide incident transpired at Quezon Street, Barangay Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 PM, January 27, 2019 particularly at the house of Mrs. Eriberta Dabalos Zamora, 79 years old, female.

Upon receipt of the report, PNP personnel of Molave MPS immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident.

Upon arrival thereat, victim identified as Mrs. Eriberta Dabalos Zamora, 79 years old, female and resident of said place was found lying lifeless bathed with her own blood inside her room.

Investigation conducted disclosed that around 10:30 PM of same date, the maid of the house identified as one (1) Maymarie Vilabis Guinsayao, 19 years old, single and resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Sigapod, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur was awakened when someone knocked the main door of the house.

When the maid asked whose someone outside, the person/suspects replied that it was the son of Mrs. Eriberta Dabalos Zamora (victim), thereby the maid open the door and surprisingly a suspect wearing a bonnet pointed a gun towards her and struck /punched her stomach the causes her to faint, while two (2) other suspects entered the house.

Unfortunately, the victim was found lying lifeless bathed with her own blood in her room and sustained wound/injuries on her head believed to be struck several times using empty bottle of sprite and plastic chair which resulted to her instantaneous death.

Personal belongings inside the room were scattered and broken cabinet. Accordingly, based on the statement of her son, cash money amounting to more or less thirty thousand (Php30,000.00) pesos and a jewelries amounting to more or less fifteen thousand (Php15,000.00) pesos were missing.

At around 2:15 AM of 28 January 2019, PNP personnel of Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (PCLO) arrived at the scene and conducted crime scene processing. The maid of said house Maymarie Vilabis Guinsayao was brought to Molave MPS. PNP personnel of Molave MPS is still conducting thorough investigation to possibly identify, locate and arrest suspects.

1 dead in Road Crash Accident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 6, 2019)  - One dead in Motor vehicle traffic accident transpired along National Highway Brgy. Dipolo Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:35 PM of January 5, 2019.

 The accident was involving Suzuki Raider motorcycle driven by Lloyed Giether Berdida Y Eslaga, 16 years, old, male, single and student with two (2) back riders identified as:

Jonard Berdida Y Retuerto, 16 years old, male, single, student and

Ramel Maquiling Jr Y Espenosa, 18 years old, male, single all a resident of Brgy. Blancia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

They were bumped head on to Honda XRM motorcycle driven by Bernabe Amad Y Tabuniag, 30 years old, male, single, laborer and a resident of Bag-ong Kauswagan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Both drivers and back riders sustained serious injuries and immediately brought to the nearest hospital for medical treatment but the driver of Honda XRM was pronounced dead on arrival at Blancia Hospital, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.
