Robbery/Hold-up Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 1, 2019) - Robbery incident transpired at Ogis Lechon Manok, located at Mabini Street, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur on December 31, 2018 at about 7:30 AM.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the victims as Rolly Suezo Y Bongabong and certain Crisanto, both employees/workers of Ogis Lechon Manok.

Investigation conducted disclosed that said victims were preparing to open the store (OGIS Lechon Manok) located at the above-mentioned place of incident, when suddenly two (2) unidentified male suspects, wearing black masked, pretending to be a customer and asked for the available of lechon manok.

Immediately thereafter, the suspects declared hold up using a hunting knife and carted away cash money amounting to more or less (Php 20,000.00).

The suspects immediately fled towards Barangay Sudlon of said municipality onboard single MC Honda RS.

PNP personnel of Molave MPS conducted thorough investigation and follow up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the fleeing suspects.

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 30, 2018) - Motor vehicular traffic accident transpired along Guillen Street, fronting Francisca Villares Residence, Purok Gumamela, Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:50 PM of December 29, 2018.

Wherein one (1) unit BMW Bicycle driven by a 10 years old, male, single, grade-7 student and resident of Purok Gumamela, Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur was accidentally overrun by One (1) unit Ark White Isuzu NQR truck drop side, bearing plate number KGN 504, driven by Francisco Araneta Y Obejero, 34 years old, male, married, and resident of Purok Olive, Barangay Bogo Kapalaran, Molave.

As a result, the driver of BMX bicycle sustained serious injury and was rushed to Salug Valley Medical Center for medical treatment but was declared dead on arrival by the attending Physician.

                                                                       

Stabbing Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 23, 2018) - Stabbing incident transpired at Molave Public Market particularly in front of Delante’s Bakery, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 A.M of December 22, 2018.

Responding police officers of Molave Police saw a man lying in the ground in front of the Delante’s Bakery who was still breathing and was immediately brought to Blancia Hospital, Brgy. Blancia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur but declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Victim was identified as Ronnie Castro, 38 years old, with a live-in partner, a boarder of Julieta Labajo’s boarding house located at Burgos St, Brgy. Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

According to the bystanders at the Public Market who happened to witness the said incident, the victim Ronnie Castro was so drunk and gone uncontrollable, who was looking for trouble to anyone who passed by him. The unidentified suspect who was on board on a Honda XRM 125 color black came wanting to by bread at Delante’s Bakery was flagged down by the victim and challenges the suspect.

Suspect tried to evade Ronnie just to stay out on trouble but Ronnie was so eager to confront the suspect until the suspect opened his motorcycle U-box and took a knife and without hesitation stabbed Ronnie several times that hit his chest and a three (3) stabbed wounds on his right side of the body particularly at his ribs portion.

After the incident suspect fled from the area going towards Barnagay Dalaon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Suicide Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Dec. 10, 2018) - Suicide incident transpired at Mendoza residence situated at Yangco St., Maloloy-on, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur at about 7:30 AM of December 9, 2018, wherein one Reynaldo Lumbatan Mendoza, 46 years old, married, businessman and resident of the same place/house was lying lifeless in the ground particularly in the parking area where one Mitsubishi Strada bearing Plate number B2 T345 color white had been parked.

The lifeless body of Reynaldo sustained left and right temple gunshot wounds which believed to be an entrance and exit points and further believed the gunshot wounds penetrated by one bullet only.

Recovered in the area were Caliber .40 Bersa Thunder 40 pistol bearing serial number 886134 loaded with ten (10) ammunition of the same caliber and a slug of Cal. .40 firearm.

Investigation conducted by Molave MPS disclosed that prior to the suicide incident, Reynaldo Mendoza appeared to be depressed because of his present health condition and as well as financial aspects where on June 28 to July 10, 2018 he was in ICU and hospitalized in Mercy Hospital, Iligan City.

During interview with Reynaldo's wife, children and relatives, it disclosed that due to his present health condition and financial aspects for his medication, Reynaldo was bothered and depressed.

Reynaldo that day was scheduled to have his medical checkup at Mercy Hospital, Iligan City. However, he went out early in the morning at about 5:00 A.M. afterwards committed suicide using his registered above described Caliber .40 firearm shooting against his left temple and exited in the right temple.

Arrest of Wanted Person

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Dec. 7, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Molave MPS, conducted police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 10:00 PM of December 06, 2018 at Purok Pag-asa, Brgy. Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of two suspects identified as Ryan Bertulfo Pielago, male, 34 years old, married, resident of purok Pag-asa, Brgy. Madasigon, Molave Zamboanga del Sur and Jerry Habla Balsa, 51 years old, with Live-in Partner, Tricycle Driver, resident of Lagata Compound Brgy. Sudlon, Molave Zamboanga del Sur.

The teo suspects were arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Mary Ann D Real, Presiding Judge at Municipal Trial Court 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur dated December 04, 2018, for the Violation of Attempted Homicide with docket Criminal Case No. 7364 with bail bond recommended of Twelve Thousand (Php12, 000.00) pesos and Ernesto Bertulfo Pielago, male, 37 years old, Brgy. Councilor with live-in partner a resident of purok Pag-asa, Brgy. Madasigon, Molave Zamboanga del Sur.

Another Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Mary Ann D Real, Presiding Judge at Municipal Trial Court 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur dated December 4, 2018, for the Violation of Article 208 Of The Revised Penal Code with Criminal Case No. 7363 with bail bond recommended Six Thousand (Php6, 000.00) pesos.

The arrested persons were now under the custody of Molave MPS for proper disposition.
