Shooting Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 25, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired along the road of Purok Paglaum, Barangay Mabuhay, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:40 PM of November 24, 2018.

Upon receipt of the report, immediately alert team of Molave MPS proceeded to the area and upon arrival thereat, the team found an unidentified person lying on the road next to his motorcycle.

Investigation disclosed that the victim was identified as Teofilo Gulanin Niez Jr, 54 years old, Punong Barangay of Barangay Dontolan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

It was further disclosed that said victim had a companion identified as Estrella Mislos Hinoqin, female, 39 years old, with live-in partner, Barangay Records Keeper of Barangay Dontolan, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur who also sustained gunshot wound and was immediately brought to Salug Valley Medical Center, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

Accordingly, both victims were onboard on a single motorcycle bound to Brgy. Dontolan, Molave, Zambaonga del Sur when suddenly chased by two unidentified suspects also onboard on a Red Honda XRM motorcycle and shot them several times and fled towards Brgy. Parasan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Molave MPS is now conducting follow-up investigation and hot pursuit operation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

Arrest of Wanted Person

MOLAVE, Zambonga del Sur (Nov. 16, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Bayog MPS and Molave MPS conducted joint police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 1:00 PM of November 15, 2018 at Purok 6, Poblacion Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of the suspect identified as Ernie Abarides Bueno, 39 years old, Married, van conductor and a resident of Purok 6, Poblacion Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation of R.A 9262 with Criminal Case # 2018-10-3503 and 2018-10-3504 issued on September 28, 2018 by Honorable Judge Jaime B Caberte, Presiding Judge of, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, with no bail recommended.

The accused is now under the custody of Molave MPS for proper disposition.

Drug Suspect Busted

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 13, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Molave MPS and Zamboanga Del Sur-Provincial Drugs Enforcement Unit conducted a joint Drug buy-bust operation at about 6:00 PM of November 12, 2018 at Purok Mabini, Brgy. Maloloy-on, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Juanafer Sandoval Taray (under DI watch list/HVT), 36 years old, born on November 29, 1982, married, jobless, a resident of Purok Mabini, Barangay Maloloy-on Molave Zamboanga del Sur.

Confiscated from her possession were five pieces sachet of shabu and five (5) hundred pesos as marked money.

The arrested person is now under the custody of Molave MPS for proper disposition.

Rape Suspect Arrested

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 8, 2018) - The Combined PNP personnel of Molave MPS and Tangub MPS of Misamis Occidental PPO conducted police operation on wanted person at Purok Dungguan, Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 AM of November 7, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Leberato Lestojas y Oniez, 44 years old, married, a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Lorenzo Tan, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental.

He was arrested by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest for crime of Frustrated Statutory Rape docketed under Criminal Case no. TC-2016-150 and two (2) crimes of Child Abuse docketed under Criminal Case No. TC-2016-151 and TC-2016-052 all issued by Presiding Judge, RTC 10th Judicial Region, Branch 16, Tangub City issued on October 17, 2016 with no bail recommended for Frustrated Statutory Rape and Eighty Thousand Pesos (P80, 000.00) each for the Child Abuse.

The arrested subject person is now under the custody of Tangub MPS, Misamis Occidental for proper disposition.

Robbery/Hold-Up Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 6, 2018) - Robbery/hold-up incident occurred at about 10:20 AM November 5, 2018 at the LBC Molave Branch, Rizal Avenue, Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Initial investigation disclosed that at about 10:00am of November 5, 2018, while following four employees of LBC were rendering usual duties namely:

Rolly John Lambojon Y Hicale, 23 years old, single, assistant dispatcher and resident of Sto. Rosario, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur,

Herbert Alicaway Y Alingaro, 27 years old, married, teller and resident of Burgos St., Makuguihon, Molave,

John Rey Elmidor Sugabo, 29 years old, married, customer associate and resident of San Jose District, Pagadian City and

Gary Cielo Y Canomon, 23 years old, single, custodian and resident of Magsaysay St., Makuguihon, Molave.

Two unidentified suspects one was wearing a mask while the other only wore a cap declared a robbery by taking out a firearm believed to be a Caliber .45 pistol afterwards one who wore a cap asked for the name of Herbert while the other suspect wearing a mask positioned himself in the entrance/exit door.

The robbers ordered the six customers (3-male and 3-female) just to seat down.

Afterwards, the robber entered the teller area and the office at the back of the teller area and ordered Herbert to open the vault.

After taking the contents of the vault which amounted to one hundred thirty one thousand (Php131, 000.00) pesos in cash, also took the money inside the drawer and the CPU of the computer in the teller area which amounted more or less nineteen thousand (Php19,000.00) pesos in cash.

After the robbery, the two robbers drove away a XRM motorcycle color black/white bearing Plate number KE 6091 or KC 6091 towards Brgy. Maloloy-on Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Notorious Carnapper Arrested

MOLAVE, Zamboanga Del Sur (Oct. 29, 2018) – The Combined elements from 902nd MC, RMFB9, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch, Molave MPS, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company (under the control and Regional Intelligence Division 9 successfully arrested the Notorious Car napper  conducted hot pursuit operation against

JemarOclaritMacareal, resident of Purok Dos, Barangay Dos, Tangub City, who had been apprehended at Barangay Tuloan, Molave Municipality, around 5:00 p.m. of October 28, 2018 - in possession of an XRM (blue-white color combination with temporary plate no. 090101) owned by a certain Mr. Felipe P. Rodero (resident of Barangay Sudlon, Molave Municipality, this province).

The arrestee and his identified crime associates from Pagadian City and Ozamis City are believed to have been responsible in a series of carnapping incidents in the AOR, including that of an incident last October 22, 2018 where another black/white colored XRM was stolen at Mabini Street, Brgy. Maloloy-on, Molave Municipality, when the arrestee was later identified through CCTVs which were placed at the vicinity. The suspect has several pending cases for carnapping dating back in 2014 and 2016;

Further, be informed that initial exploitation of the suspect's cellular phone is suggesting possible links of the suspect to BIFF and other Lanao-based crime gangs mostly engaged in carnapping, illegal drugs and other criminal activities.

Arrestee is now undergoing tactical interrogation and will be temporarily detained at Molave MPS.
