Mauling/Stabbing Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 25, 2018) - A mauling/stabbing incident occurred in front of Saint Ferrer Parish Church, Capistrano Street, Barangay Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:40 AM of September 23, 2018.

The victim identified as one Benjamin Monteza Sabellano Jr., 37 years old, male, single, butcher by occupation and resident of Aquino Street, Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, he was mauled and stabbed by more than one persons.

The suspects were identified as:

Melvin Hawgin alias “Dayday”, male, estimated 20 years old, a resident of  Sitio Susayan, Barangay Dalawon, Molave,;

Ronilo Bansal y Manago, 29 years old, married;

Ronel Batoon Palongpalong, 17 years old, both male, married and single respectively and residents of Purok Olive, Barangay Bogo Capalaran, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur;

Loremer Lampitao and Mark Jay Cristatoy y Gumilos.

PNP elements of Molave MPS arrested two of the suspects identified as Ronilo M. Bansal, and Ronel B Palongpalong. 

The victim sustained stabbed wounds and injuries on the face, head and different parts of his body and brought to Salug Valley Medical Center, Molave.

PNP elements of Molave MPS is now conducting hot pursuit operation against the other fleeing suspects Melvin Hawgin alias “Dayday”,Loremer Lampitao and Mark Jay Cristatoy y Gumilos.

Meanwhile, Ronilo Bansal is now under custody of Molave MPS while Ronnel Palongpalong turned-over to DSWD, Molave. The Investigator on case is SPO2 Genmaidee F Jabello with CP No. 09998348816.

Shooting Incident

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 25, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Santol, Sitio Cogon, Barangay Sumpotan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of September 23, 2018.

The victim identified as Joniso Jabordo y Medina, 50 years old, separated, male a residents of Purok Santol, Sitio Cogon, Barangay Sumpotan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot to death by unidentified suspect.

Initial investigation conducted by PNP elements of Dinas MPS revealed that the victim and the suspect having a conversation at the house of Jaime Brigondo Atig(neighbors) while celebrating sitio fiesta therein.

Thereafter in the heights of their conversation come into a heated argumentation and the suspect shot the victim once hitting on his abdomen using undetermined caliber of firearm.

The suspect was immediately fled away to unknown direction after the incident. Dinas MPS conducted hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the suspect/s.

Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Investigator is PO2 Jonar R. Cortez cp no 09985986809.

1 killed, 1 wounded in Stabbing Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga cel Sur (Sept. 25, 2018) – One woman was killed while her husband wand wounded in a stabbing incident on September 20, 2018 at about 2:20pm.

Molave MPS received a phone call from a concerned citizen that an unidentified woman allegedly dead was laying on her blood along the road of Bonifacio St, Barangay Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

The PNP personnel of Molave MPS responded and found the woman on the road laying on her blood.

The Investigator of Molave MPS conducted investigation and found that the said woman is dead and sustained multiple stabbed wounds.

While searching for possible evidence another person laying at the door step of a certain boarding house inside a compound just five meters away from where the woman was laying.

Said person sustained wounds but still breathing and immediately brought to Salug Valley Medical Center, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur for medical treatment. 

The women identified as Joy Lumanta Lajos, 37 years old, saleslady, a resident of Barangay Tuluan, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur and the person was her husband Weneboy Camporedondo Lajos, 38 years old, jobless, a resident of Barangay Tuluan, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

At around 7:00 pm Weneboy Lajos was transferred to MHARSGEN Hospital located at Ozamis City.

Initial investigation disclosed that the wounds sustained by Weneboy Lajos the husband of the victim was self-inflected to use as alibi to his involvement in the incident.

The daughter of the victim namely Wene Jane L. Lajos, 17 years old, student, came to Molave MPS and identify the knife that was recovered from the incident that it was the knife of her father from their house at Brgy. Tuluan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.
