MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (May 1, 2018) – A man
was shot to death by the unidentified suspect in front of Cebuana Lhuiller
Pawnshop, Capistrano St., Maloloy-on, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur at about 6:00pm Monday.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that
the victim identified as Lucio Quimado Almodiel, male, 38 years old, single,
Habal-habal driver and resident of Pilapil Compound, Purok Dahlia, Maloloy-on.
Further investigation conducted that the victim was
seating on his Single motrorcycle Honda Wave color red/black bearing Plate
number Temp. 6263 JM motorcycle when suddenly unidentified suspect armed with
unknown firearm approached the victim and shot twice hitting on the head that
resulted to his sudden death.
Suspect run towards the get-away Rusi 125 color
blue/white driven by an unidentified driver. fled away along Capistrano St. and
Mabini St. Municipality of Molave.
Immediately victim was brought by responding PNP
personnel to Igano Community Hospital for medical treatment and was pronounced
dead after an hour of treatment.
Recovered in the crime scene was an empty shell
of Calibre .45 firearm. Molave MPS is still now conducting thorough
investigation to identify the motorcycle riding criminals and motive of the
incident believed to be personal grudge.
